Abstract Most existing table tennis teams never play each other as a team. Triples for the first time allows three-person teams to play serious table tennis. The book explains its rationale, equipment and its manufacture, its rules, and its integration into existing table tennis events. It strives to enhance the already popular image of table tennis by adding a true team sport to its repertoire, thereby increasing its player, spectator and media appeal. Part 1 establishes the theoretical basis of Triples and provides detailed information on the design and manufacture of its hardware. In analysing its geometrical and physical aspects, it shows that playing conditions in Triples are equivalent to or better than in the conventional game - e.g. a greater action space and shot variety. Chabeli retains top LeTTA post Chabeli retains top LeTTA post Leemisa Thuseho CHABELI Mohatlane will once again lead the Lesotho Table Tennis Association (LeTTA) for the next four years after winning the elections unchallenged at Setsoto Stadium yesterday. He will be deputised by Malatola Phothane from Vodacom Table Tennis Club. Phothane, who was an ordinary committee member in the outgoing committee was also unchallenged for the post. The elections also saw Tholang Tohlang also retaining his secretary general post while Thabo Tikoe also retained his treasurer post. Both were unopposed. Kamohelo Seaka is the new vice secretary general while Themba Talane is the new players’ representatives. Thato Mothibeli is the new public relations officer.

Her candidature received overwhelming support, claiming all of the 42 votes on offer, and sees table tennis represented for the first time on a board often dominated by winter sports. Aruna to book Olympic ticket through ITTF rankings The Punch Published 29 April 2021 Nigeria and Africa table tennis top seed Aruna Quadri is set to book his qualification to the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo when the ranking list of qualifiers is released in May by the International Table Tennis Federation. The table tennis qualifiers for the Olympics started in 2019. A total of 70 athletes are expected to be part of the competition in the men’s singles, with 61 already booking their places at the Games. A slot will be contested for at the Oceania Qualification Event in Brisbane, but eight more will make the cut from their current ITTF standings.
