FIAS joins United Nations Alliance of Civilizations campaign Tuesday, 22 December 2020
The International Sambo Federation (FIAS) has signed up to the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) One Humanity campaign.
The FIAS has joined the Global Association of International Sports Federations and a number of International Federations in signing up for the campaign, which calls for solidarity, compassion and unity in the face of discrimination and division.
It has been launched by UNAOC, which works to achieve a number of sustainable development goals including no poverty, zero hunger, reduced inequalities, good health and well-being, and peace, justice and strong institutions.
Through the campaign, the FIAS will demonstrate its commitment to a peaceful and inclusive society through a series of initiatives, and video messages.
