SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. â The Sullivan County Sheriffâs Office has recently undergone numerous upgrades to itâs computer systems. The upgrades include a new online feature to provide information on inmates.
Sheriff Clark Cottom applied last fall for computer upgrade funds available through the C.A.R.E.S. Act. With the funds, the Cottom was able to set up JailTracker which contains information on arrestees and inmates, both past and present.
Cottom said this will keep the public better informed, while drastically reducing the number of phone calls the jail receives on a daily basis.Â

Indianapolis couple sentenced for murder of Sullivan County woman
Danny Wilson Jr. and Renee S. Huffines pleaded guilty for the death of Patricia Dorsett, who was reported missing by family members in May of 2019.

SULLIVAN, Ind. An Indianapolis couple was charged Friday for the 2019 murder of rural Sullivan County woman in her home.
Danny Wilson Jr. and Renee S. Huffines pleaded guilty for the death of Patricia Dorsett, who was reported missing by family members in May of 2019.
Investigation from the Indiana State Police Putnamville Post and the Sullivan County Sheriff s Office discovered Dorsett’s deceased body in a trailer near the back of her property.
