Four people have been arrested in connection with drugs offences FOUR people have been arrested in connection with drugs offences after police swooped on an address in Southampton. Officers from the Southampton High Harm team raided an address in Northam Road earlier today. Three men aged 19, 24 and 56 and a girl aged 17, all from Southampton, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. The 56-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs. A police spokesperson said: A quantity of suspected Class A drugs were seized. All four remain in custody at this time.
Police have charged a man with drugs offences following a stop and search in Southampton. Michael Ricketts, aged 58 of Richmond Road, Southampton was charged with two offences of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs - crack cocaine and heroin. The charges came after Ricketts was stopped and searched by officers from the Southampton High Harm team in Park Road, Southampton, yesterday. He appeared at Southampton Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 25 January.
