Saskatchewan Pension Plan appointing Shannan Corey to top job

Shannan Corey will succeed Katherine Strutt as the executive director of the Saskatchewan Pension Plan. A 30-year veteran of the pension sector, Corey most recently served as the founder and CEO of Corey HR Consulting and as a board director of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation’s pension and benefits board. Previously, she was a board vice-president at the Co-operative Superannuation Society pension plan, a director of total rewards at Federated Co-operatives Ltd. and was a senior consultant at Aon for 24 years. Strutt, who has held the top job at the pension fund since 1990, will retire at the end of June.
