Regina police probing man s death on Princess Street

Regina / 980 CJME Jul 15, 2021 | 4:50 PM The Regina Police Service and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating the death of a man early Thursday in the Washington Park neighbourhood. According to police, officers responded at about 5 a.m., to the 800 block of Princess Street for a call about an injured man. Officers found the man and gave him first aid until paramedics arrived. The man was taken to hospital, where he later died. Police didn’t provide any other details, including the man’s name or age or the nature of his injuries. Anyone who has information that could help the investigation is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Regina Police Service reports that the toddler was seriously injured and transported to hospital on June 9th. Officers were told she had fallen down the stairs. She succumbed to her injuries four days later, on June 13th. The death investigation was carried out by the Regina Children’s Justice Centre, which includes police, social workers, medical and justice personnel, and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Twenty-six year old Brittney Burghardt is charged with 2nd degree murder, and 24 year old Justin Anderson is charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Both were charged with forcible confinement and both appeared in court this morning (Thurs).
