Nearly two years after Barry Wyman of Woolwich was killed when a rental truck hit his car head-on, Wyman’s family filed a lawsuit against the truck’s driver and the company that rented out the truck.
On Friday, attorneys for the Wyman family filed a civil lawsuit in Sagadahoc Superior Court against the driver of the rental truck, William Young of Topsham, and against Penske Truck Leasing Company.

Police continued to search Monday for three men suspected of being involved in an unusual beating and robbery Saturday night in West Bath.
A 45-year old man from Phippsburg was assaulted and robbed by three men on Berry’s Mill Road after being “flagged down” by a woman who claimed that her SUV was disabled, said the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office.

WEST BATH (WGME) The Midcoast is on high alert after a good Samaritan was beaten and robbed while trying to help who he thought was a woman in need.
Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. Saturday on Berry’s Mill Road in West Bath.
The man pulled over to help a woman who claimed her SUV had broken down, but when he stopped to help, three men then jumped out of the car and beat him unconscious.
The suspects then ran into the woods.
