Outrageous! 4 police sprayed with unknown irritant & no one arrested

April 18, 2021 Four officers were injured as protesters again gathered in downtown Sacramento on Saturday night speaking out against the killing of Daunte Wright and others by police. The officers were reportedly hospitalized after being sprayed with an unknown liquid irritant, police said. No arrests were made. The perps, the mayors, commissioners, neighborhood activists, others are all assaulting the police in one way or another. Yet, the police keep coming to work to protect and serve everyone, no matter race, creed, or sexual persuasion. That shows the good character of the overwhelming majority. The dirtbag Antifa and Black Lives Matter are violent rioters but the MSM insists on calling them ‘demonstrators’ and ‘protesters.’ This is while they call the Trump supporters racists and insurrectionists.

Chula Vista asks Justice Department to audit its license plate reader program

Print The Chula Vista Police Department has requested an independent review by the California Department of Justice of its automated license plate reader program and is proposing to end data sharing with all federal agencies. Chula Vista City Council members are expected Tuesday to consider a list of changes the department wants to make ahead of a May expiration date for its annual subscription with program vendor Vigilant Solutions, which the department is seeking to renew. It is also looking to add two more plate reader systems that the council approved in July 2020, according to the city agenda report. The license plate readers, which Chula Vista began using in 2007, allow cameras mounted onto four police vehicles to take photographs of any license plate the cars drive by. Information such as the time, date and location, but not names or addresses, are logged. CVPD has allowed hundreds of policing agencies to access the data.
