The victim was identified as Bobby Charles McDonald, according to a press release from the Georgia Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire Office in Atlanta. Firefighters with the Sandersville Fire Department discovered McDonald's body near a rear door as they were working to extinguish the blaze that happened shortly after 9 p.m. on Sunhill Road.

JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - A Laurel woman killed by a vehicle in Jones County Wednesday night has been identified.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Sgt. Travis Luck said a preliminary investigation revealed a Chevrolet Malibu traveling north on U.S. Highway 11 hit a woman in the roadway around 7:40 p.m. The Jones County Sheriff’s Department said it happened between Laurel and Sandersville.
MHP identified the woman as 29-year-old Kerri Kelly. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
