Two females are the latest persons to test positive for COVID-19 in Barbados.
These cases were identified out of 870 tests conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Thursday, May 6.
Meanwhile, 16 persons have recovered from the viral illness and were discharged.
There are 106 persons in isolation.
Barbados has recorded 3,931 confirmed cases (1,898 females and 2,033 males) since last March, from the 157,606 tests carried out by the public health laboratory.
There have been 3,847 recoveries and 45 deaths.
As part of the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 75,360 persons have been vaccinated, to date. Of this total, 28,467 people have received both doses. (BGIS)

There were also 12 recoveries and 83 people remain in isolation.
The total confirmed COVID-19 cases moved to 3 797 (1 848 females and 1 949 males), and 3 704 people recovered. There were 44 deaths from the viral illness.
Since February 2020, the public health laboratory conducted 149 826 tests.
To date, 71 134 vaccinations were administered to 29 353 men and 41 781 women under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (

There were also 12 recoveries and 83 persons remain in isolation.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has moved to 3,797 (1,848 females and 1,949 males), and 3,704 people have recovered. Forty-four people have died from COVID-19.
Since February 2020, the public health laboratory has conducted 149,826 tests.
To date, 71,134 vaccinations – 29,353 men and 41,781 women – have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19. (BGIS)

Barbados continues to see a decline in COVID-19 cases.
Four new cases, two men and two women, were identified out of the 619 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Thursday, April 8.
Three persons were released from isolation, bringing the number of recoveries to 3,579. There are 100 persons in isolation.
The island has recorded 3,708 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic, comprising 1,797 females and 1,911 males. There have been 44 deaths.
The public health laboratory has so far conducted 145,227 tests.
To date, 64,645 vaccinations have been administered – 26,662 males and 37,983 females.
