The court heard that Audette’s lawyer, Laura Joy, and Chatham-Kent Crown attorney Rob MacDonald had discussions Wednesday night relating to the resolution track the matter is working towards.
Based on the discussion, a three-week adjournment was jointly requested to allow the Crown to follow up with the family members of the deceased. The court was told these would be “fairly nuanced discussions.”
