Collider spoke with Murray at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where the actor received the Maltin Modern Master Award. During their conversation, he opened up about being approached about the project by filmmaker Jason Reitman, son of

As the world’s chimpanzee population dwindles in the wild, one man risks everything to care for a group of mistreated animals rescued by Jane Goodall’s Chimp Eden Sanctuary in South Africa.
The pant-hoot (call) is a well-studied, structurally complex and long-distance vocalization of chimpanzees. Each individual has his or her own distinctive pant-hoot, so that the chimp can be identified with precision.
The film tells the story of Stany Nyandwi. A genocide survivor who transcends overwhelming odds to become a master chimpanzee linguist. And Stany s care for a group of mistreated animals rescued by Jane Goodall’s Chimp Eden Sanctuary in South Africa.

Ghostbusters was one of the biggest hits of the 80s and its instant success meant a sequel was inevitable. Yet it took almost five years for
Ghostbusters II to hit screens, with the end result generally being considered a much lesser movie than its predecessor. Part of the reason for the delay was simply that it was hard to get the team back together, with Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson all pursuing solo careers in the interim.
Murray was an especially tough nut to crack. Peter Venkman was the most popular character in the original, yet the star decided to step away from acting for four years to study philosophy and history at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
