LATHROP, Calif. Lathrop Police arrested a man in connection to multiple armed robberies across several cities and counties, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff s Office.
Deandre Phillips, 27, was arrested for allegedly completing at least nine robberies in Stockton, Manteca, Tracy, Lathrop, French Camp and Turlock. The crimes all happened in the span of over a month from Nov. 22 to Dec. 26, according to the sheriff s office.

A body found floating in a California aqueduct last Sunday was later identified as being that of a local 36-year-old woman who had gone missing the night before, according to reports.
Chenin Carlson was last seen around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 19, leaving her home in Manteca – east of San Francisco for her new job at Amazon in nearby Tracy, her husband said, according to the Modesto Bee.
But she never arrived at work. Authorities are searching for Carlson s SUV: a gray 2008 Honda Pilot with license plate 7FIE245.

STOCKTON, California A Stockton family and community are still searching for answers from a Christmas Eve murder 20 years ago.
Sophia Ulloa was stabbed to death outside her mother’s Stockton home. She was 20 years old and her car was full of Christmas presents for her then 4-year-old daughter.
The case remains unsolved. I’ve just been holding it and holding it, Tina Mendoza, Sophia s mother, said.

The body of a woman discovered in an aqueduct near Chrisman Road in Tracy on Monday has been identified as that of Chenin Carlson – the 36-year-old Manteca mother of two that turned up missing over the weekend when she did not report to a new job in Tracy.
The announcement of the identification of the body was made Wednesday afternoon by the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office and came less than a day after the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at Carlson’s home to gather any and all evidence that may point investigators towards what happened to her.
