Woman Loses Life in Northern Accident
A fatal traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon on the Philip Goldson Highway claimed the life of thirty-nine-year-old Candice Martinez. Martinez was behind the steering wheel of an SUV near San Joaquin Village when she reportedly crashed into a trailer travelling in the same direction. Images from the scene of the accident show police presence and how the impact sent the SUV off the road and into bushes. The extensively damaged vehicle had its windshield shattered, and the dashboard broken in several places, while the rear tire of the trailer was visibly destroyed. Martinez, a resident of San Joaquin village, succumbed at the scene of the accident.
