St Joseph man dies after highway crash 2 Hrs Ago A St Joseph man died at the San Fernando General Hospital on Thursday after his vehicle crashed into a light pole along the Solomon Hochoy Highway. Police reports said around midday, Paul John told them that around 11.30 am he was heading south along the highway when he lost control of his vehicle near the Claxton Bay Overpass and slammed into a light pole before the vehicle overturned. He was taken to the Couva Health Facility, then transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital, where he died around 6 pm. No one else was injured in the accident.
