San Luis Obispo County COVID-19 cases now 21,363; 261 deaths
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County reported 20 new coronavirus cases on Friday. There have now been 21,363 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County, including 261 deaths.
The newest numbers are being released every weekday on ReadySLO.org.
45 people are recovering at home and 3 people are currently hospitalized, none of whom are in the ICU. 21,054 people are considered recovered.
2,380 of these total cases are inmates at the California Men s Colony.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. San Luis Obispo County is preparing to close down its three large-scale community vaccination clinics later this week. We will be closing those three clinic sites after Friday, said Michelle Shoresman, San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department spokesperson. Friday is the last day we re giving vaccinations at the South County Regional Center, the Paso Robles Event Center and Cuesta College.
Since the first vaccinations went into arms in December 2020, the Public Health Department has administered the majority of doses distributed in the county.

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County reported 17 new coronavirus cases on Friday. There have now been 21,315 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County, including 261 deaths.
During the State and local Epidemic Information Exchange team review found a decrease in San Luis Obispo County COVID-19 cases from October 2020 to early May 2021. The overall case count decreased by 134 cases.

71 people are recovering at home and 2 people are currently hospitalized, none of whom are in the ICU. 20,981 people are considered recovered.
