Viewers knew that Davood Ghadami would be leaving the BBC One soap this week, in the aftermath of Kush grassing on the Mitchells and Shirley Carter over their involvement in last year s heist. However, his plan to flee Walford actually turned deadly when serial killer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) caught up with him before his planned escape and pushed him in front of a moving train. BBC The episode saw Gray becoming suspicious of Whitney when he saw her posting a letter at the Fowler house late at night. With Phil Mitchell already warning him to contain Kush, Gray decided to follow the couple.
