As of Feb. 5, the number of total coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 863 and there have been 32 new deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
Of these cases, 701 are confirmed cases and 162 are probable cases.
The total number of cases reported to the state Friday is 409,861. The current total death count is 9,076.
The collection dates for most of these cases (94.2%) fall between January 28 and February 4, 2021. 97% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 3% of the cases reported to the state today were in congregate settings.

As of Feb. 4, the number of total coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 2,758 and there have been 38 new deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
Of these cases, 1,236 are confirmed cases and 1,522 are probable cases.
LDH says that todayâs report includes a backlog of 844 cases (120 confirmed and 724 probable). The collection dates range from October 22, 2020 to February 2, 2021. 3,934 tests are included in the backlog.
The total number of cases reported to the state Thursday is 408,995. The current total death count is 9,044.
The collection dates for most of these cases (54.2%) fall between January 27 and February 3, 2021. 16% of the cases fall between January 1 and January 26 and 18% of the cases fall in December 2020.

As of Feb. 3, the number of total coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 2,046 and there have been 53 new deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
Of these cases, 1,198 are confirmed cases and 848 are probable cases.
The total number of cases reported to the state Wednesday is 406,235. The current total death count is 9,006.
The collection dates for most of these cases (87.5%) fall between January 26 and February 2, 2021. 99% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 1% of the cases reported to the state today were in congregate settings.

As of Feb. 2, the number of total coronavirus cases reported in Louisiana increased by 2,580 and there have been 41 new deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
Of these cases, 1,597 are confirmed cases and 983 are probable cases.
The total number of cases reported to the state Tuesday is 404,194. The current total death count is 8,953.
The collection dates for most of these cases (92.2%) fall between January 25 and February 1, 2021. 98% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 2% of the cases reported to the state today were in congregate settings.
Downtown Lafayette hosting downtown parking forum on Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, Downtown Lafayette is hosting a public forum on downtown parking at Acadiana Center for the Arts.
After a recently announced change to parking meters in Downtown Lafayette, a forum was set up for the public to voice their concerns and opinions. The proposed changes included doubling meter fees and 24/7 monitoring and were supposed to take effect on January 19. DDA says that after a council meeting in late January, the change will not yet be put in place. Itâs more important than ever to open up a dialogue and ensure that stakeholders most impacted by any future changes to parking, including business owners, residents, employees, developers, and visitors, have a chance to share their insights, concerns, and ideas for how to make downtown parking more user-friendly and business-friendly, Downtown Lafayette says.
