Muskingum County Sheriff K9 Passed Away
ZANESVILLE, Ohio-A Muskingum County Sheriff K9 named “Narco” passed away on January 26th from an inoperable brain tumor.
Narco was part of the narcotics division and went on patrol with his handler Sergeant Jeremy Archer. Sheriff Matt Lutz tells us a little more about Narco’s biggest accomplishment with the force.
“There was an older gentleman that became a little confused and wandered off and was in the woods and was not in a good situation and was probably, probably could have ended up dying from that adventure because nobody knew where he was at and we had an idea from the information we had and Sergeant Archer and Narco did a track and was able able to get that guy to safety,” Lutz said.
