As the Lethbridge Police Service continues to rally in support of a fallen officer, members of the local detachment are also gathering support for each other in their time of grieving.
Members of the LPS were in Calgary Monday as part of the drive-past for Sergeant Andrew Harnett of the Calgary Police Service, who was killed during a traffic stop New Year’s Eve.
TWO men have been charged after huge cannabis grow was discovered following a police raid in Worcester. Officers searched the house in Wyld s Lane and found a large cannabis grow spanning almost every room . Following the search two men, aged 34 and 36 were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug. (cannabis) They were charged with with being concerned in the production of a Class B drug following their arrests in Wylds Lane, Worcester, earlier this week. Besart Qelia, aged 34 and Marku Pashk, aged 36, both of no fixed abode, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday 9 December) for a first hearing and were remanded
