Marquez Adams of New Castle is charged with a half-dozen counts, including a felony charge of eluding law enforcement. Sergeant Brent Coffey reports that a trooper initiated a traffic stop just before eight o’clock Sunday night on a 2002 B-M-W, which was clocked going 100 miles per hour on southbound Interstate 81 at mile marker 286 near Woodstock. When the driver refused to stop, a pursuit began. After reaching speeds of up to 130 miles per hour, the pursuit ended when the B-M-W crashed with a State Police cruiser at mile marker 263 near New Market.
