Image Source: IANS News Lucknow, April 26 : The second Oxygen Express, loaded with 60,000 litres of liquid medical oxygen (LMO), reached Charbagh Railway Station in Lucknow on Monday to meet a shortage of the life-saving gas in hospitals treating severe Covid-19 patients across Uttar Pradesh. The train, loaded with four oxygen tankers, each 15,000 litres in capacity, had left Bokaro in Jharkhand at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, said officials. Two of the four tankers to have arrived on the Indian Railways second Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) service, immediately left for Jhansi and Bareilly (one tanker for each destination) while the remaining two were stationed in Lucknow to meet the increased oxygen demand in the state capital.

Uttar Pradesh: Another Oxygen Express with 80,000 litres O2 arrives in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh: Another Oxygen Express with 80,000 litres O2 arrives in Lucknow Lucknow: Another Oxygen Express, carrying 80,000 litres of medical oxygen in four tankers, reached Charbagh Railway Station on Monday morning from Bokari in Jharkhand. Earlier, an Oxygen Express had delivered 30,000 litres of oxygen on Saturday in Lucknow. The arrival of more tankers from Bokaro will further ease out oxygen shortage in the state capital and elsewhere in Uttar Pradesh. Four empty tankers were loaded into the Oxygen Express when it arrived in Lucknow on Saturday. After loading oxygen in tankers Steel Authority of India plant, the train had left Bokaro on Sunday afternoon.
