Lenoir Man Charged With Drug Offenses, Missing Court Date On Nonsupport Allegation

45-year-old Charles Ray Lindsey, Jr. of Old North Road in Lenoir was arrested Monday (May 24) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of trafficking in methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance. In addition, Lindsey is charged with failure to appear on a count of nonsupport. Lindsey was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $50,000 secured bond and $1,994 cash bond. District Court appearances were scheduled today (May 25) and June 1.

He’s charged with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substance. Lindsey is also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession with intent to manufacture schedule IV controlled substance, resisting a public officer, and driving while license revoked. Lindsey was brought to the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $55,000 secured bond. No court date was listed.
