CHARLOTTE, N.C. The Camino Center, a local Charlotte nonprofit, is working with Walmart to distribute 2,400 COVID-19 vaccines to the Charlotte community during its two-week vaccination event.
Officials say the vaccines will be distributed from Monday, May 17th to Friday, May 28th, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., at Camino’s campus located on Stetson Drive in Charlotte.
Officials say the goal is to administer at least 240 vaccines per day.
Walmart officials say they decided to partner with Camino due to the trust the nonprofit has gained in the Charlotte Latino community, and during the event, Camino will have bilingual staff on site to help fill out paperwork or to answer any questions.
