A TIDWORTH woman has been banned from driving after being three-and-a-half times over the drink drive limit. Her van had been stopped by a police officer as there were no headlights on, there was no front number plate and there were sparks coming from underneath the vehicle. It was later revealed a road sign was wedged underneath the van. Heard by Salisbury Magistrates Court yesterday, February 4, Natalie Burwood, from Talavera Way, pleaded guilty to drink driving. On the evening of October 17 last year, PC Emma Smith was on patrol on Pennings Road in Tidworth when she noticed the VW Caddy van driving in the opposite direction.
