When a strict lockdown was imposed across the state last year, the 2020 examinations for many students were pushed to 2021, further delaying their result dates. After results, the next step was the convocation, which for many students who graduated in 2020 is still pending. Students who plan to study abroad require these degrees at the time of admission and have been complaining about not receiving them in time, affecting their admission process at their international universities. Authorities, who are aware of the issue, said it should be resolved in a couple of days.

The summer semester exams were cancelled except for the final year students who appeared for the exams in the month of October. And the first semester exams of the university of the current academic year are yet to be conducted. The university had earlier said that the exams for first-year students would begin from March 30 and exams for second and third-year degree students would start from March 20. However, as per the latest report by Punekar News, the exams will be postponed by 15 days.
