Two Malaysian students scored some of the highest marks to place among the top 10 in the world in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) examinations recently
Both the Malaysia Professional Accountancy Centre (MyPAC) students took the exams in March and surpassed 92,000 candidates globally to clinch a top 10 spot in their respective papers.
Nurul Fatin emerged as the seventh best student in the world at the Strategic Business Reporting
paper, while Siti Naziah was the
world s ninth best student in Audit and Assurance .
According to New Straits Times, both students come from underprivileged families with limited facilities to follow online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, but still excelled in the exams.

It was a clean sweep for the three best ACCA Top Affiliates, with three Sunway TES students scoring the top three best ACCA Top Affiliates in Malaysia with their impressive exam scores.

KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today congratulated Nur Athirah Mohamad Zaini and Putera Aiman Abdul Rasyid on their recent success in securing second place worldwide after attaining a high score in the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) examination.
According to a statement posted on Istana Negara’s Facebook page, His Majesty also expressed his joy and pride over the students’ achievement that has made the country proud.
“Their success proves that Malaysia is more than capable of producing high-achieving individuals of international standards and calibre.

SHAH ALAM: Two Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) students, from the Faculty of Accountancy, have achieve excellence by being listed among the top 10 in the world in The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) examinations last December.
In a statement Friday, UiTM said the two students are Fatin Najwa Azman, 22, a fifth-semester student of the ACCA programme and Putera Aiman Abdul Rashid, 19, a final-semester student of the CAT programme.
Fatin Najwa won first place in Malaysia and ninth in the world for the Audit and Assurance examination while Putera Aiman earned first place in Malaysia and second place in the world for the Maintaining Financial Records (FA2) examination.
