Hudson, a travel experience leader with more than 1,000 stores in airports, commuter hubs, landmarks and tourist destinations across North America, today announced it will bring its innovative Hudson Nonstop concept, powered by Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology, to a new North American airport destination with a location at Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW).
Slated to open in mid-2021, just a few months after the successful inaugural store opening at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL), Hudson Nonstop at MDW celebrates effortless convenience and unrivaled purchasing speed across all touchpoints of the shopping experience.

Hudson has announced it will open a second
Hudson Nonstop outlet, using
Amazon.
The stores allow shoppers to enter with by tapping a credit card or mobile payment device, pick up items they require and leave without queuing for checkout or paying in-store.

Chicago O’Hare issues RFP for retail and F&B operators
Chicago O’Hare International Airport has issued an
Request for Proposals (RFP) for seven retail and F&B concessions across ten sites in the airport.
The packages include a Specialty Retail and Cosmetic outlet, a Travel Essentials and Coffee concession and five F&B outlets.
The RFP forms part of the $8.5bn
O’Hare 21 expansion project at the airport.
A Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) spokesperson said: “Over the next years, the airport will constantly evolve by building space for more gates, better amenities and travel options in order to streamline and enhance the passenger experience from curb to gate.
