Hermann Djibom visits Liberia on January 18 21, 2021. He arrives on January 18, 2020, from Lome, Togo, and departs on January 21, 2020. While in Liberia, he will pay courtesy calls on Government officials, tour Lions projects, and visit the local Lion Clubs. He is a Togolese, married with four children. He became a Leo (the feeders for Lions) in 1995. In January 1999, he joined the Lorne’ Horizon Club. Ever since that time he has held numerous positions in his Clubs, Zone, Region, Multiple District and District.

In fact, some groups have massaged their missions in order to help those who have felt the economic impact of the coronavirus. One such organization is Grow It Green Morristown, which works to create sustainable farms and gardens, and educate communities on healthy eating and environmental stewardship. Lisa Alexander, executive director of the nonprofit said, “In 2020, determined to serve, Grow It Green modified programs and focused resources to meet the needs of our community in crisis. We provided equitable and sustained access to fresh, local food, outdoor spaces and activities, and education about the environment and health in a year when food insecurity, racial equity and climate change issues were brought to the forefront.”

Little Beaver Helping Hands continues charitable work of Lioness Club

DARLINGTON  With their worldwide club folding, a community-minded group of Darlington area women decided to forge ahead with their own group. So wave hello to the Little Beaver Helping Hands, which since 1984 had been known as the Little Beaver Lioness Club. We will continue to service the local communities, former Lioness Club member-turned-Little Beaver Helping Hands spokeswoman Benoit Walton said recently. Our fundraising projects include selling our famous strawberry shortcakes at Darlington Days, the Darlington Polo concession stand, Boscov s Friends Helping Friends, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Santa Breakfast Workshop cookie sale, Letters for Santa, the Lioness cookbook, Night at the Races and soup sales.
