A 66-year-old man in Singapore had the misfortune of suffering two back-to-back accidents early on Friday (Apr. 16) morning.
As he was driving along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) toward Changi Airport near the Toa Payoh exit, his car collided with another car, which sped away.
He then stopped his car in the middle of the expressway and got out, and was hit by a motorcyclist.

Facebook page Roads.sg posted a video submitted by the driver of another car, who caught both accidents on camera.
The recording starts with two cars, which appear on the far right side of the expressway.

SINGAPORE, April 18 (The Straits Times/ANN): There were 23 new coronavirus cases confirmed as at Sunday noon (April 18), taking Singapore s total to 60,831.
They included 22 imported cases who had been placed on stay-home notice or isolated on arrival in Singapore, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).
There was also one community case.
No new cases were reported within migrant workers dormitories.
On Saturday, four new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection were reported, one of which involved a national serviceman who was due to attend his in-camp training (ICT) at Nee Soon Camp.

The bodies of two men, aged 26 and 28, were retrieved from the Singapore River early on Sunday (April 18).
Police said they were alerted at 1.57am to a case of suspected drowning near 6 Eu Tong Sen Street the address of Clarke Quay Central.
A spokesman for the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for water rescue at about 2am. Its officers saw no signs of the missing persons upon arrival.
Divers from the SCDF s Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (Dart) were deployed to perform an underwater search.
So heavy was the precipitation in a short of time that the heaviest rainfall of 161.4mm was recorded in western Singapore from 12:25pm to 3:25pm, according to PUB.
This amount corresponds to 91 per cent of Singapore s average monthly rainfall in April, and lies within the top 0.5 per cent of maximum daily rainfall records since 1981.

SINGAPORE: The Civil Defence Academy (CDA) will be redeveloped over the next three years to have more realistic training facilities, including virtual reality firefighting training and mock-ups of a bus interchange and shopping mall.
Opened in 1999, the academy in Jalan Bahar is where the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) trains its national servicemen and regular personnel in areas like disaster management, firefighting as well as urban search and rescue.
