A Crystal River man faces a felony that could put him in prison for life after he was arrested for molesting a young girl.
Tyler Scott Miles, 20, is due to appear in court Feb. 2 for a status hearing on his life-felony charge of molesting a child younger than 12 years old.
Citrus County Sheriffâs Office deputies transported Miles Dec. 16 from the Hillsborough County jail to the Citrus County Detention Facility after Tampa police arrested him Dec. 9 on a local warrant issued Dec. 8, according to court records.
Miles remains in custody without a bond.
According to the affidavit for Milesâ arrest warrant, Citrus County Sheriffâs Office authorities responded Nov. 19 to a Crystal River address to investigate a report of child-molestation.
