Sindh minister says no final decision taken for matric exams date

Saeed Ghani has said no final decision had been taken about exams of the ninth and tenth classes.
The provincial minister also reiterates no one would be promoted without examinations this year.
Ghani states that in the last meeting, it was decided to start the matric exams on July 1 and the inter exams on July 28.

Sindh education institutions to stay closed till 23rd

KARACHI: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, in a statement issued on Saturday, said that all educational institutions across the province would remain closed till May 23.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the education system is being suspended from May 17 to May 23. However, educational institutions will conduct online classes through WhatsApp, e-mail and other means. Following the guidelines and SOPs issued in November 2020 regarding the academic syllabus, the principal or headmaster of the educational institutions will be able to call some teachers and non-teaching staffers. Educational Insitutions can offer online classes: Saeed Ghani
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani on Saturday announced that all educational institutions will remain closed till May 23 in a bid to control the coronavirus in the province.
Saeed Ghani said that physical classes will remain suspended till May 23; however, institutions can offer online classes through different modes including WhatsApp and emails.
On the other hand, Punjab Minister for school education Dr Murad Raas has also said that all public and private schools in Punjab would remain closed till May 23.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani on Sunday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lost the NA-249 election due to overconfidence and mismanagement.
Addressing a press conference, Saeed Ghani said the PML-N had no right to raise a hue and cry about the election results, adding that it was strange that no one protested when PML-N’s Miftah Ismail was in the lead.
On allegations that he somehow got ahold of the election results before they came out, Ghani said he had tweeted the numbers that were available to him from the form 45 issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
PPP fires shots at PML-N over NA-249 rigging allegations

PPP leader and Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani on Sunday lashed out at the PML-N, rejecting allegations the PPP won the recent by-election in NA-249 via rigging. The PML-N lost the NA-249 by-election owing to its own mismanagement and overconfidence, said the minister, addressing a news conference.
The minister s press conference came a few days after the NA-240 by-election was held in Karachi, where PPP s Qadir Mandokhail emerged victorious, triggering allegations the party had resorted to unfair means from rival parties.
The PML-N had also lashed out at the PPP, accusing it of rigging the by-poll.
