The funeral was attended by Federal IT Minister Amin-ul-Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami spokesman Zahid Askari, Secretary Karachi Press Club (KPC) Muhammad Rizwan Bhatti, Sindh information department officials, including Moiz Pirzada and Saleem Khan, and his colleague from The News as well as friends from various other news organisations.

Pakistan to have new Population Census in 2021 - ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Council of Common Interest (CCI) has decided to hold a new Population Census in the Country in 2021 to address concerns of smaller provinces, especially Sindh. Briefing media in Islamabad on Monday after the CCI meeting held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Chair, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar told that the new Population Census will be held in 2021 instead of waiting for 10 years, and its framework will be ready in the next six to seven months to ensure transparency and to take all stakeholders into confidence over the matter.

Friends are being favoured. Workers are being destroyed. We ask the federal government to not destroy this asset, not let its workers starve. But what to say about the federal government that takes a U-turn on every turn,” he said.

NAWABSHAH: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday criticised the federal government and said that it does not take provinces or the Opposition on board when making decisions about the country. As reported by Geo.tv, the chief minister was speaking during an event in Nawabshah where he said that Pakistan is being negatively affected because of the secluded attitude adopted by the Centre. The federal government has a policy of not taking provinces on board when making decisions, CM Shah claimed, adding that the PTI-led regime neither talks to the provincial stakeholders nor the Opposition.
