SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Saturday said the Pakistan Peopleâs Party (PPP) would participate in the Senate elections and upcoming by-polls. He was speaking to reporters after arriving at Garhi Khuda Buksh to attend the 13th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, being held on Sunday (today).
The CM said the PPP lawmakers had submitted their resignations to Bilawal House and a decision would be taken at an appropriate time. âWe will participate in the Senate and by-elections. We will never leave the field empty,â he said, adding that the PPP had never refrained from rendering sacrifices.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Friday Said that Sindh is the second largest province of Pakistan and Karachi being the provincial capital is the economic and industrial hub of the country, Dunya News reported.
Murad Ali Shah stated this while addressing the 26th Annual General Body Meeting of Pakistan Engineering Council at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.
The Chief Minister Sindh said that Karachi alone contributed 164 billion dollars to the GDP (Gross domestic product) in 2019 which is about 95% of the GDP of Sindh.

After much talk to improve the transport system in the city and get rid of traffic congestion at the motorway, the Sindh government laid the foundation stone of the Malir Expressway on Thursday. Flanked by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other provincial ministers and officials, the Pakistan Peoples Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated the largest project launched by the PPP-led Sindh government.
The Malir Expressway project is at the estimated cost of Rs28 billion and is to be completed under the public private partnership model.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari invited on Thursday Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam - Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to attend the December 27 rally commemorating the death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.
In a telephonic conversation, the two discussed the overall political situation in the country and the Pakistan Democratic Movement s (PDM) anti-government campaign, the second phase of which was launched a day ago with a rally in Mardan.
