Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has inaugurated Sindh Institute of Animal Health and a vaccination lab in Karcahi.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said investment in livestock sector for food security and poverty alleviation is need of the hour.
The chief minister stressed to control foot and mouth disease in the cattle through vaccination by establishing a vaccine manufacturing plant in the province.
Later talking to newsmen, Syed Murad Ali Shah said he had held a meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board to rehabilitate Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has urged the livestock department to ensure food security in the province.
âIt is assumed that more than 70% of infections in human beings have been contracted from animals,â he said at the inauguration ceremony of the Sindh Institute of Animal Health in Karachi s Korangi on Thursday.
The world has been working on the One-Health concept which states that the health of humans was dependent on the health of plants and animals.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that provincial govt would implement a ban on inter-city transport movement if federal govt did not consider the request
