Scottish grown AVA strawberries now available in supermarkets across the UK
This week over 74 tonnes of premium Scottish-grown AVA strawberries will hit supermarket shelves across the UK. The start of the season has been delayed by a few weeks due poor weather; however, AVA Berries says this will not impact the availability of its premium berries this summer as it expects to grow up to 1,500 tonnes of juicy AVA strawberries.
AVA Berries offer the best flavour, sweetness and quality and are grown by an exclusive group of growers based across the north-east coast of Scotland, Perthshire and Fife, which has the ideal micro-climate for producing the perfect strawberry with its warm days, cool nights, and just the right amount of daylight hours.
