Man taken into custody in connection to the shooting on Luis Street in Orange Updated Jan 15, 2021; A man accused of barricading himself into a motel on East Main Street in Westminster has been taken into custody, according to Massachusetts State Police spokesperson David Procopio. Orange Police secretary Brenda Anderson confirmed to MassLive that one person sustained an injury. The man was located at the Rodeway Inn in connection to the shooting on Luis Street in Orange, Friday morning. The man was taken into custody just after 1 p.m., according to Procopio. The Northeastern District Attorney’s office told MassLive they will release further details on the shooting when more information is available.
