The program, a partnership with the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC) and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, is built around the Pediatricians already play a critical role in addressing food insecurity. As Real Agriculture reports, the Poultry and Egg On-Farm Investment Program will dole out $630 million over ten years. The funding is compensation for market access granted under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Under the program, producers will be entitled to an amount that is proportional to their quota holdings, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada said. The department said funding will be distributed starting in 2021-22, and will be allocated as follows:
