Amid rising blasphemy cases and forced conversions, Punjab has become the first province in Pakistan to launch a draft policy on interfaith harmony.
“This plan is the first of its kind due to it being formulated by people belonging to diverse religions and sects, thus making it inclusive of minorities and the majority population,” said Punjab Minister for Human Rights, Minorities Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Ejaz Alam Augustine.

Ground Breaking Ceremony of Eastern Bypass Road Hub
Quetta, January 25, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has stated that the network of roads is being laid all over the province. This, he stated while addressing the ceremony marking the inauguration of the western by-pass road in Hub, on Saturday. Also present on the occasion were the Parliamentary Secretary for Minorities Affairs, Danesh Kumar and former Provincial Minister, Prince Ali Ahmed Baloch, Secretary Road, Saleem Awan and other concerned high ups besides the elders of the area.
While briefing the Chief Minister about the road project, it was informed that the western bypass road has been completed costing Rs. 643 million. This road has connected the Industrial city of Hub with Karachi, it was informed further. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of the eastern bypass road project in Hub.

Quetta, January 21, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Honorary Consul General of Pakistan based in Philadelphia city of USA and prominent veterinary surgeon, Dr. Inayat Hussain Kathio called on the Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan here at the CM’s secretariat on Wednesday. Also present in the meeting was the Parliamentary Secretary for Minorities Affairs, Dhanesh Kumar.
During the course of the meeting, the matters pertaining to the development of the livestock sector, improvement in the growth of the local cattle were discussed. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government is determined to develop the livestock sector in the province just because it has great potential.
