Mar 17, 2021 MADISON (WKOW) Dozens of people held a candlelight vigil at the State Capitol Tuesday night to show support for the family of missing teenager Tiah Meigs. The 15-year-old was last seen Thursday at Wisconsin Heights High School. Authorities say she got into a vehicle with someone she knew. They say Meigs was in Madison later that day. Meigs godmother, Missy Dickson, says the last few days have been awful and emotional. We re said, and we re worried. And then the anxiety is high, Dickson said. $5K reward offered for safe return of missing 15-year-old

The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who safely returns a missing 15-year-old girl who went missing late last week. Tiah J. Meigs was last seen leaving Wisconsin Heights High School on Thursday. Dane County law enforcement officials said Meigs got in a car with a person she knew. Michael Johnson, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County, said in a tweet that the organization will offer the $5,000 reward to anyone who returns Meigs home safely within 72 hours. $5,000 Cash Reward: Any person that returns Tiah home safely to the Boys & Girls Clubs within 72 hours the Club will offer an award. Boys & Girls Club of Dane County receives $750K grant for college, career readiness programs

American Family Insurance will provide $750,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County over the next three years to help fund college and career readiness programs. The funding will benefit an in-school and out-of-school partnership between the Madison Metropolitan School District and the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County. The collaborative program, which includes the MMSD-run Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) and BGCDC-run Teens of Promise (TOPS), helps students develop skills needed for a successful career and college experience. “We would not be where we are today without the support of American Family Insurance. We have one of the most successful college access and success programs certainly in Dane County.
