Dear Sally,
I held an account with Extra Energy for the supply of gas and electricity for a property I owned. Extra Energy went into administration on November 19 2018, which happened to be the day I sold my property. I was told that responsibility for the account had been handed to Scottish Power and Extra Energy’s receivers, PwC.

Ikea has launched its delayed Buy Back scheme allowing customers to sell their old furniture back to the retailer.

Customers can earn up to £250 per returned item, which will be given to them in the form of a voucher to spend at the store.
Boohoo announced a 41 percent rise in annual revenues to £1.7billion on Wednesday
Boohoo, it seems, is unstoppable. The faster-than-fast fashion retailer announced a 41 percent rise in annual revenues to £1.7billion on Wednesday. It’s an extraordinary figure, especially in the wake of a pandemic that has caused so many high street fashion chains to crash into administration (the Boohoo Group went on to acquire several of these heritage British brands, including Warehouse, Debenhams and Karen Millen).
The company attributes its success to sales of athleisure - comfy clothes that are worn as much for relaxing at home as they are for sports. This more than compensated for the fall in demand for occasionwear, they said, when national lockdowns came into effect.
Former Pizza Express director loses High Court reopening battle
Hugh Osmond has lost the case he bought against the Government to try to force the early reopening of indoor venues
4 May 2021 • 7:34am
Hospitality chiefs have tasted defeat in a legal battle with the Government to reopen indoor venues sooner than the scheduled date of May 17.
Former Pizza Express director Hugh Osmond brought the action in April with nightclub and festivals operator Sacha Lord to challenge the decision to keep pubs and restaurants closed indoors weeks after the opening of non-essential shops on April 12.
The pair argued that there was no scientific or legal basis to keep venues closed amid figures from industry body UKHospitality revealing an £80bn hit to the sector since the onset of the pandemic in March last year.
Concerns about the sustainability of diamonds are more important to younger consumers, says world s biggest jeweller
4 May 2021 • 12:33pm
Pandora, the world’s biggest jeweller, is to only sell lab-grown diamonds as it seeks to drive down the cost of the gemstones and end reliance on polluting miners.
The business has launched a new range called Pandora Brilliance which includes earrings, necklaces and rings with prices starting at £250. All the diamonds used were made in the UK.
Alexander Lacik, chief executive, said: “Diamonds are not only forever, but for everyone.
Pandora said the move was driven by ethical concerns after a wave of criticism over working conditions in some mines and the impact their can have on the environment.
