SAN ANTONIO – “It’s a feeling of just complete joy,” Krystin Gamino said about her life now at the Salvation Army family shelter.
She and her husband Robert Zeller have come so far. They were living in Fresno, California and struggled with addictions to crystal meth and alcohol. But after they had their first son, they knew they had to change.
“We did struggle with addiction and our history there with that and having kids wasn’t going to be acceptable. So we wanted to up and start elsewhere,” Krystin said.

SA Salvation Army hopes to raise $250k during National Salvation Army Week
SAN ANTONIO – Whether you need essentials like food, household items and water, or know someone who does, Salvation Army is here to help.
This year’s National Salvation Army Week is taking the place of what would normally be Salvation Army’s annual luncheon and is expected to serve as the second biggest fundraiser of the year, behind their annual Red Kettle Campaign.
In 1954, President Dwight D. Eisenhower declared National Salvation Army Week. This May, The Salvation Army will be celebrating its 67th National Salvation Army Week.

Cleveland, OH (April 30th, 2021) – Last evening, The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland held a small reception at The Union Club, in downtown Cleveland, to recognition Josh Cribbs, a champion for The Salvation Army and the greater Cleveland community. Josh has been an active supporter of The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland for over 5 years. Both, he and his wife, Maria, were Ambassadors for 2019 Kick Off of the Red Kettle Campaign in Cleveland. Josh helps during Thanksgiving and Christmas to distribute meals to families who need it the most. In the summer, Josh and his TeamCribbs Foundation, donate school supplies and book bags to children preparing for the upcoming school year in the Miles Park area.
