Local students have been placed on Bemidji State s dean s list for the Fall 2020 semester. Students from Fargo included:
Clay Bachmeier, Christopher Burk, Lucas Garbe, Maxwell Karnik, Jacob Rieth and Selena Sanchez. From Moorhead:
Lauren Hodny, Bennie Neewray, Aubrey Rodgers and Jared Zimmerman.
The Red River Valley Development Association (RRVDA) named
Mark and Sandra Anderson of Moorhead the “Outstanding Farm Leaders” for Clay County. Couples were selected based on their impact on the farming industry, their service to their communities, and how they lived and worked to enhance the quality of life in northwest Minnesota. Mark started farming in 1980 after graduating from NDSU. Sandra worked at the VA in Fargo to help support the farm. The Andersons raise sugar beets, wheat, corn and soybeans.
