Travis Stefonowicz to the new position of assistant police chief. He will be joined in the executive leadership team under Police Chief David Zibolski s newly reorganized department by Joe Anderson as deputy chief of the neighborhood services division, Chris Helmick as the captain of the criminal investigations division and George Vinson as the captain of the professional standards division. A panel of community members, city staff and law enforcement officials helped make the selections. In an interview with The Forum, Zibolski said he agreed with each of their choices.

(Fargo, ND)  The Fargo Police Department recently completed its promotion and appointment process for the positions of Assistant Chief and Captains to finalize the formation of the new FPD Executive Staff Team. After an intensive interview process involving both internal and external evaluators, the following appointments have been made by Chief David Zibolski. Assistant Chief | Travis Stefonowicz Travis Stefonowicz, currently a lieutenant, has been selected for the FPD’s newly-created Assistant Chief position. Stefonowicz has served the Fargo community as a sworn officer for 19 years and currently oversees the Training and Development Unit. He was employed at the Red River Regional Dispatch Center before joining FPD. Stefonowicz is a graduate of the 277th class of the FBI National Academy.

Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed in Moorhead

(Moorhead, MN) Moorhead Police are asking for your help in finding the person responsible for robbing a pizza delivery driver Thursday evening in the city. Authorities say at approximately 5:44 PM, officers were sent to the 1900 block of 18th Avenue South for a report of a robbery. As the pizza delivery guy was waiting for a customer, the suspect approached him with a knife and demanded his wallet.   The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 30 years old who is 5 6 tall. He weighs approximately 135 pounds with dark short hair and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing a shirt with reddish trunks or shorts, running around the west side of an apartment building to the south.
