Delhi airport to suspend operations at T2 terminal from midnight
From Monday midnight, all flights will be handled at the T3 terminal only as the number of flights have reduced significantly due to the second wave of the COVID-19, the airport authorities stated.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi international airport will shut down its T2 terminal from Monday midnight as the number of flights have reduced significantly due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, sources said.
From Monday midnight, all flights will be handled at the T3 terminal only, they stated.

New Delhi: The Delhi international airport will shut down its T2 terminal from Monday midnight as the number of flights have reduced significantly due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, sources said.
From Monday midnight, all flights will be handled at the T3 terminal only, they stated.

Currently, the Delhi airport is handling around 325 flights per day, they mentioned. Before the pandemic, it used to handle around 1,500 flights per day.

Lufthansa to operate flights between India & Germany via Bahrain instead of Dubai
Lufthansa said it will operate its 10 weekly flights between India and Germany via Bahrain instead of Dubai from Sunday due to recent restrictions imposed by the UAE government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The German airline said in a statement, This change was made due to new UAE regulations that restrict flights between India and Dubai for passengers who were transiting there up to now for operational reason.
From May 16, all 10 weekly flights between Frankfurt in Germany and Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore in India will transit in Bahrain, it said.
