Evacuation Orders for Mount Shasta Vista Subdivision reduced to warning
The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office has downgraded the Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Warning for the Mt. Shasta Vista Subdivision, County Road A-12 north and south, Harry Cash Road, 4 Corners (Big Springs Rd at County Road A-12) to Hart Road, north side of Hoy Road, North along Highway 97 to County Road A-12, Communities of Lake Shastina and Juniper Valley off Big Springs Road from Highway 97 to McDonald Lane on both east and west sides of Big Springs.

14 arrested for entering Mount Shasta Vista subdivision during Lava Fire evacuation
The Mount Shasta Vista Subdivision has been the location of several arrests this week related to Lava Fire evacuation orders. There was also an officer-involved shooting at the subdivision earlier in the week.
