PM Imran Khan lays foundation stone of various projects in Quetta

QUETTA, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday performed the groundbreaking of various projects in Quetta and also distributed cheques among deserving people under the Kamyab Jawan Programme.
The projects included a 22-kilometer dualization of Quetta Western Bypass (N-25) and the construction of an 11-kilometer Dera Murad Jamali Bypass (N-65).
While addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, the prime minister reiterated the determination of his government to develop the Western route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to connect areas that were neglected in the past.
Imran Khan said that Balochistan was neglected in the past and now the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is fully focusing to bring this province at par with other developed parts of the Country.

ISLAMABAD, April 27 (Xinhua) Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his country will follow China s footsteps in the field of agriculture and get benefit from China s high-yield seed development technology.
Addressing a ceremony to give away farmer card to farmers in the country s east Punjab province on Monday, the prime minister said that his government had taken an important step to make the agricultural sector a vital part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor to uplift the sector and lives of the farmers.
He said that Pakistan s own research institutions on seed development will also be revamped to produce good quality seeds at home.
