Thu, Dec 24, 2020, 09:31 pm SL Time, ColomboPage News Desk, Sri Lanka. Dec 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka Customs today discovered a consignment of agricultural plant waste that has been sent to the Port of Colombo from Ukraine instead of an order of a coriander stock worth Rs. 70 million.
The Customs Media Spokesman, Additional Director General of Customs Sunil Jayaratne said a team of officers from the Consumer Protection Division of the Sri Lanka Customs has found the containers at the port today (24).
A group of eight Sri Lankan importers in the Pettah area has placed the order to buy a coriander stock worth over Rs. 70 million from Agronica Trade Company of Ukraine, one of the largest agro crops producer and exporter in Ukraine.
