These are the forgotten railway stations of St Helens that have not been in use in the borough for years.
They are committed volunteers who give up their own time to restore pride back into our village. They have cleared several areas including the old railway that runs parallel to Monastery Road, the monastery dam, Ellamsbridge Road, Gerards Lane, Helena and Abbotsfield roads and more recently, the area next to Sutton Oak School. This has taken many hours of graft. However, the litter is slowly reappearing. Litter and fly tipping attracts more littering and anti-social behaviour. Weeks ago, our collected rubbish was set alight. We ask that residents stop littering and take their rubbish home. Please respect where you live and keep it nice for others.
