Cité dans l’une des parutions du journal panafricain
Jeune Afrique (N°2664 du 29 Janvier au 04 février 2012) dans l’article intitulé : « Guinée, des gisements en sommeil », comme étant propriétaire d’une compagnie minière en Guinée, l’ancien Premier ministre guinéen, Kabinè Komara (sous le capitaine Dadis Camara), dans un style propre à lui, s’est indigné contre cette affabulation et a démenti la nouvelle à travers un courrier dont nous détenons une copie.

Jeune Afrique a reconnu son erreur et a publié un rectificatif ainsi libellé dans son N° 2667 du 19 au 25 février 2012 à la page 58 :

(SMC) is set to convert a portion of its head office complex in Ortigas into its first urban farm which it said would support its staff. Under the Malasakit Grade program, employees and workers doing support jobs would be given a plot of land to be used as a space to grow produce of their choice. They may opt to bring home the harvest or sell these for a profit at a small market stall that will be set up at the complex.
